Its patented sensor technology allows kabibo to respond in a particularly sensitive manner to its environment and detect objects and obstacles using only brightness contrasts. Depending on how the sensors are attached to the mini robot it follows light, lines, objects or the shadow of your hand.
The control of this simply mounted robot consists of only 2 transistors and 2 resistors. Through two brightness sensors it detects very small contrasts in its environment and reacts to it. When driving straight ahead, the LED-eyes light up.
The set-up of kabibo is done in about one hour. You need a 9 V battery, a soldering iron, tin-solder, pliers and a cutter. From the assembling of the robot to the first start - all necessary steps are described in detail in the construction manual and documented with numerous illustrations. An additional manual explains how the robot works and how the different functions can be used. The English manual will be available soon.
kabibo is available in four different colors: blue, red, green and yellow. The cable ties can be stick out in different directions as feelers, as feathers or as tail or they can be cut as desired. Equipped with an additional set of two capacitors and resistors kabibo is able to stop for a short time and make funny sounds.
